Ingredients:
Pie Filling
- 7 Yellow Apples
- 1 Cup Brown Sugar
- 1 Tbsp Cinammon
- 1/2 Tsp Nutmeg
- 2 Tbsp Butter
- 1 Tsp Vanilla Extract
Crust
- 2 cups Sifted flour
- 4 Tbsp Brown Sugar
- 1/2 Cup Oil
- 2 Tbsp Butter
- 3 Tbsp Water
- 1 Tbsp Melted Butter

Heat oven to 375. Peel and Core your apples and then mix them in a large bowl with the other pie filling ingredients, except for the butter. Set aside.

Mix together flour, sugar, oil, and water till you have a slightly sticky dough consistency. Soften 1 Tbsp of butter in the microwave or on your stove top, and add to mixture.

Rip off two 16" pieces of waxed paper and set them down on your countertop. Sprinkle generously with flour. Make a ball of dough about 4' thick and place it in the center of waxed paper. Pat down the dough as much as you can with your hands and then sprinkle top with flour. Place two more sheet of waxed paper on top and roll out dough till your crust is about 1/2' thick.

Peel off top layer of waxed paper and using a cookie sheet or any large flat surface slide the dough onto the sheet. Lay your pie plate gently on top of the dough and flip over. Carefully peel back the waxed paper and trim the crust edges.

Fill the pie crust with your apple mixture and then cut the remaining 2 Tbsp of butter into 5 or 6 small pieces and spread these out on top off the apples.

Make your top crust and when this is in place, trim the edges of the pie, and then using a fork, score the edges of the crust and poke 4 lines of hole in the top of the pie forming a square. Place your pie plate in a large pan with about 3/4 water and put in oven. Bake for 45 minutes.
