Our Information on our Lounge-Around-the-Housewear Recall:
Dear Warm Biscuit Bedding Co Customer,
As you may recall, you purchased a pair (and often several pairs) of our “Lounge-Around-the-Housewear” clothing.
Over the past 8 years, we sold and marketed our non treated cotton Lounge-Around-the-Housewear clothing as:
- 100% non-treated cotton
- Not-intended for sleepwear as outlined by the Federal Governments regulations for sleepwear
However, according to the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and federal government’s sleepwear standards, our untreated Lounge-Around-Housewear clothing is considered sleepwear. Therefore, according to the CPSC, this product is in violation of established sleepwear standards.
At the Warm Biscuit Bedding Co., we advocate for more natural and untreated products. We did not use the CPSC’s required fire retardant chemicals or synthetic fibers. Chemicals which can include chlorinated and brominated flame retardants and inorganic flame retardants such as antimony oxides, and other phosphate-based compounds.
The CPSC considers the untreated cotton sleepwear (and loungewear) unsafe for children and thereby, requiring the Warm Biscuit Bedding Co:
- stop distribution of our Lounge-Around-the-Housewear clothing
- notify all our customers of this product recall
- offer a $39 store credit to customers who would like to return the Lounge-Around-the-Housewear clothing

Warranties:
Warm Biscuit Bedding Co. upholds the warranties offered by the artists and manufacturers who craft our furnishings. Because the scope and duration of our manufacturers’ warranties vary, we encourage you to ask a Representative for specific warranty information on products of interest.
Shipping Information:
The Warm Biscuit Bedding Co. ships via Federal Express within the United States.
Orders sent by Standard Federal Express Ground and should be delivered within 5-10 business days. Packages under 2 lbs. may be sent USPS Priority Mail. If a specific receiving date is required please Email or Call with your request and we will do our best to fulfill it.
Orders will be shipped without the need of a signature, and will be left at the door if no one is home. Please ship to a business/work address or specify in "Special Delivery Instructions" if a signature is required for delivery. The Warm Biscuit Bedding Co. is not responsible for missing or stolen packages. Our customer service office hours are Monday-Friday 9am-6 pm EST and closed Saturdays, Sundays and major holidays.
International Shipping (outside U.S.A.)
Warm Biscuit has partnered with a trusted third-party company, iShopUSA to fulfill orders for our international customers. Simply put any items you wish to purchase in your shopping cart and choose the "international checkout" option. The items will automatically be transferred into an iShopUSA cart. You may pay with international credit cards, PayPal and bank wire transfers. iShopUSA will process your payment and guarantee delivery. Once your order is completed, all inquiries should be directed to iShopUSA Customer Service Department.
Order Status:
If you’d like to check the status of your order, we encourage you to refer to your order confirmation where you will find the lead time for the items you ordered.
Please note that the lead times reflected are approximate, and are for the production time needed to complete your items. Shipping transit times add one week to your lead time depending on the item shipping method used and destination.
Small items such as accessories and bedding are shipped via FedEx and should be delivered to the specified shipping address within 5-10 days of the lead time noted.
Delivery of furniture may require up to three weeks in transporting and delivering your items safely.
You may also check your Order Status (pending) profile for updates on the status of your order. Once an item has been shipped, this information will be reflected in Order Status (pending).

In a Rush:
Express shipping and rush delivery are available on most items. Please call to confirm rates. Orders are typically shipped on the business day following placement of the order. Orders placed on Friday through Sunday are typically shipped the following Tuesday.

Let us Gift Wrap:
For $5, we’ll carefully wrap your gift in a white or brown Kraft paper and tie it with a bright red cording. Gift messages are hand written on old fashioned gift tags.

We understand your concerns regarding privacy and designed this policy as part of our strong commitment to you. Cookies are used on the site to help customers access and track items in their shopping cart.
