Materials:
For Flowers:
- Tissue paper in a few different colors
- Green pipe cleaners
- Scissors

For Vase:
- Small glass juice bottle, clean and dry
-Paper mache paste (1 part flour to 5 parts water. Boil for about 3 minutes and allow it to cool.)
- Strips of white paper
- Paint or markers

Make Floral Arrangement:

Step 1: Make Vase
Put paper mache paste you have allowed to cool into a wide, shallow bowl or pan. Dip strips of paper into paste and smooth over juice bottle until it is completely covered. Allow to dry. This can take up to 24 hours. ß

Step2: Make Flowers
Cut a few layers tissue paper into small rectangles. We recommend cutting no smaller than 5÷x7÷. Stack 4-6 pieces of tissue paper. Working from the longer side, fold the tissue into an accordion. Pinch the middle of the accordion and wrap the end of a pipe cleaner around it. Gently separate the layers by pulling them up and toward the middle of the flower. Make a handful of flower of varying sizes and lengths.

Step 3: Decorate Vase
Using paints, makers, stickers, glitter, or whatever art supplies you have handy let your child's little Picasso take over. The results will surely be as unique as they are.

Step 4: Make Floral Arrangement
Once your vase is dry and you have enough flowers for a nice bouquet, place them in your vase. Enjoy your homemade flower arrangement!
